What is portable appliance testing?
Portable appliance testing encompasses various equipment types from battery operated to mains appliances, including portable, transportable, hand held, stationary and IT equipment.
PAT testing forms an integral part of any health and safely programme which ensures companies comply with insurance requirements and Electricity at Work (EAW) Regulations 1989.
Fire Extinguisher Service
The service includes the general services of the appliances, greasing and making free all working part and firing mechanisms, internal and external inspection to ensure that no corrosion is present, checking and weighting the contents.
The fee does not include any discharge tests / refills which may be necessary during any service visit.
No discharge tests / refills will be carried out before you have been given a cost and you have authorised the work to be done.
A self adhesive label is affixed to each appliance showing essential service history and a Certificate of Inspection is issued.
