Fire Safety Training

We provide fire extinguisher fire awareness and fire marshal training and all our courses include an outdoor practical session, (see below) which provides each delegate with the opportunity to handle fire extinguishers, putting out actual fires on our training rig, with safety cones and “Live Fire training” signage to the perimeter.

Each delegate who completes the course will receive a certificate of attendance for your fire records.

Our Gas Fired Training Rigs provides safe, yet realistic live fire extinguisher training for course attendees, in addition further safety measures are provided with a safe area being provided with safety cones and live Fire training’ signage to the perimeter.

FAQs

Why do I need to do fire safety training?

To comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that covers general fire safety in England and Wales you must complete a fire risk assessment and ensure that adequate and appropriate fire safety measures are in place to minimise the risk of injury or loss of life in the event of an incident. As part of this process you are required to ensure your workers receive appropriate training on procedures they need to follow, including fire drills.

How many Fire Wardens do I need?

This will depend on your building and the nature of your business, but you must ensure that you have sufficient staff to cover time off and lunch breaks etc. The number of fire marshals required will be identified in your risk assessment.

What facilities do I need to provide.

We will need to set up a meeting room for the theory part of the fire training course and will need access to a safe area outside for the practical part - using fire extinguishers.
